Mary is a Lighting Designer.
In Washington, D.C., she started her career in Lighting Design. She is most proud of her work with The Second City at The Kennedy Center, her position as Resident Lighting Designer with Pointless Theatre Company, and her Assistant Lighting Design positions at such stages as Shakespeare Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Olney Theatre Center, and more.
In Los Angeles, she was a resident programmer at Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and the primary Lighting contractor at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art.) She was the full time Head Electrician and Assistant Lighting Designer at Rock of Ages Hollywood, where she not only got to manage the LX department of the resident show, but design for events, concerts, and celebrity birthday parties.
In West Virginia, she designs DIY shows in unconventional spaces with her creative partner.
